jambit Stuttgart turns 5
We celebrated an anniversary at jambit in Stuttgart on February 1, 2022 – our Swabian office is now 5 years old! Our 30 jambitees in Stuttgart, called Stuggis, knew how to celebrate – completely remote! Together with our Head of Subsidiary, Dr. Andreas Bernauer, we’ll have a look back on five exciting and successful years.
Individual software development in Stuttgart – impress with customer proximity and centrality
jambit employees are talking Swabian since 2017: the first jambit office apart from the headquarters in Munich was opened five years ago. The small team started in an office in Stuttgart-Vaihingen with focus on front- and backend development in the automotive industry. The proximity to customers was and still is a big advantage today. In the meantime, jambitees from Stuttgart make a central contribution to offer more services in mobile development and infrastructure, and to work in other industries such as media. The team also grew with more projects. At the end of 2019, our Stuggis moved to the heart of Stuttgart – to Königsbau, which is very central to Schlossplatz. Finally, we got more space for further innovative software projects and even more talented software developers.
Five years Stuttgart – five personal highlights
Dr. Andreas Bernauer, Head of Subsidiary Stuttgart, and his team are looking back on five diverse and successful years of their office. “We collected some highlights at jambit in Stuttgart over the last 5 years. It’s really hard to break it down to only five,” said Andreas. “Of course, the jambitees at our office are the ones creating special moments every day. As software service providers, they are the heart of everything,” emphasizes the Head of Subsidiary Stuttgart with a smile on his face. He continues with the following highlights and could also extend his list constantly:
Remote ready
Hybrid work as future model
jambit can work remotely! This hasn’t only been possible since Corona and the relating situation of working from home. With opening further offices besides the Munich headquarters, jambit proves that shared work no problem for our agile, cross-functional teams.
Especially our jambitees in Stuttgart, know this form of working together from the start. As the first office apart from Munich, they are considered as jambit pioneers in remote and hybrid work. As the pandemic began, they easily moved their whole working setups to their homes within half of a day and all jambitees could work from home seamlessly. “We see our future with hybrid work,” predicts Head of the Subsidiary, Dr. Andreas Bernauer. Project work locally together in the office, entirely remote from home or any other preferred place, and also a mix of both – everything is possible. That is how jambit further promotes the topic Distributed Work with the opening of the recent office in Yerevan, Armenia and expands it with the offer of the entire remote work for all. Dr. Andreas Bernauer values the possibilities and perspective for all those, who want to work from everywhere and also for the software developers, who value personal contact in the office. “We showed that we can work very productively remote and maintain personal contact, both with the screen and in the office at the same time. A flexible mix of both possibilities will create an added value for everyone!”
